		<description>Upon hearing this extraordinary news, I made contact with MY Edinburgh contact, and he confirmed that it did indeed appear to snow at approximately 1100 hours. &quot;A very small number of what appeared to be minute flakes were drifting around in all directions... including upwards&quot;. 

Rain never goes up.

Must have been snow.</description>
