Well I’ve just been playing about on Google and clicked a sponsored link, the site I ended up on was crap so I it the back button as usual. However I saw something which, as far as im aware is a bit new…
Now if I do a search on Google for ‘alpha rooms’ below are the top 3 sponsored listings, the official www.alpharooms.com site and two other companies hoping to make money off the back of another brand.

However lets say im curious and click on one of the other adverts, I chose the last check one due to their ‘we are cheaper’ claim. Once on the site I realise they aren’t so I click back to Google and notice something new, see below.

So now if your going back to Google with the same search you have the option to tell them if the link was any good or not. Im not sure if this data’s being used yet but it could be another part of their quality score algorithm so will be interesting to see how it pans out.
Off out for a posh meal now so no time to look into it but im sure there will be more posted all over the net as more people become aware.
