On one of the forums I frequent the A4U Forum one man, beejeebers aka Will decided that he wanted a ski-doo but rather than just buying it set himself the challenge of making £3000 profit from one affiliate programme in the space of one month – so if he pulls it off the ski-doo was free!
Now firstly I was impressed that someone who obviously could afford to just buy the ski-doo and have fun actually wanted to feel as though they earned it. Secondly I’ve wanted a ski-doo for the past 4 Christmases until Firebox.com stopped selling them this year and I no longer know where to find one (okay I might not have looked that hard!).
The initial thread Will started is here and you’ll notice I make my little pitch, well after a day or two he chose Alpharooms.com and has commenced his PPC activity. Obviously what I can report here is limited but ill try and keep things updated and it looks like he’s going to keep that thread updated – I think it could prove to be a good challenge! Is £3,000 profit in one month realistic? Yes, but I think it may take just over a month and possibly 2. However I hope im proved wrong! To make a commission payment of £3,000 it will take a sales value of nearly £43,000 our average order value is £350 so were looking at just over 120 sales, but that doesn’t take into account the actual PPC costs!
So as you can see it really is quite a challenge, and if he can do it I think he really does deserve that ski-doo
