Well I’ve not done a mouse dropping in a while so thought id answer a question loads of people have asked me in the past, and continue to do ask. Why morleymouse?
Those that know me will know I am nothing like a mouse so ill get that out of the way straight away!
Right well it all came about when I first got the internet, cant remember exactly when that was now but probably around 1999 or something like that. When registering with AOL, who was out chosen ISP they ask for a master screen name, which is basically a superuser account that you can then set up sub accounts, edit details, change billing details etc. Well the first thing I tried in there was ‘Morley’ which was taken, and quite clever of AOL rather than sticking a load of random numbers after the name such as Morley1999 they stuck another word on, and alas I ended up with MorleyMouse – which I actually quite liked. Time went on, my online ‘name’ so to speak got stronger most of the free email services that are morleymouse@ are mine, well I registered them and have not logged in since.
Boring, but at least now I have something to refer people to when they ask if I look like a mouse, eat a lot of cheese (actually I do) or live in a small hole (and if another person describes my house as that im going to kill them).
