Be wary of the darkside young Padawan.

May I ask if any other affiliates were currently breaching guidelines for this particular merchant prior to setting up your campaign or are you the only one?

Another conscious thing to consider, what if your cookie overwrote that of an affiliate who had previously promoted this merchant by abiding by the rules? They have in effect lost out on commission. Maybe just something to ponder about.

Well that was my initial problem, finding a brand name that didnt have any other affiliates bidding on it! I’ve gone head to head with affiliates before and it just gets expensive, as im not out to make a profit, or any money here I didnt really want to fight for the position.

The other adverts showing were promoting competitors sites

I am aware my cookie could be wiping a lot of other affiliates cookies, and for this I can only apologise im not aiming to run this indefinitely hopefully it will be off within a week. But again if this does make a massive difference to other peoples sales I would expect for:

a) the affiliate to notice, the affiliate to notice the brand ad and then report it to the network

b) the network to notice directly everyone else losing out and my ‘out of nowhere’ bookings.
