Im bored of this now, constantly seeing people blatantly breaking PPC policies and getting away with it so as I come across it (im not even looking for it just trying to add some links to my own sites) im going to post it on here. Might not make a blind bit of difference but I know the sort of questions that get raised merchant side when this eventually gets found out and I can see things like this damaging the reputation of the industry and really holding it back.
So im looking to add in a load of Play.com links and I want a Play.com logo for some of the custom graphics im going to be making so I do a search for ‘play.com’ very lazy I know and it would have been quicker to type that in the address bar, but well, I don’t know, force of habit.
Play.com search reveals 1 paid advert:

And below a screenshot from the buy.at affiliate area:

The last line of which stats, in a very clear way “Affiliates are not allowed to bid on the brand play.com or any variations of this.”
And the URL that the Google ad goes to: http://www2.kzytm.com/A/3820
Whois on this domain gives plenty of information:

After its redirect the affiliate redirect page is refresh: http://playcom.at/bargain
If this is one of these closed groups can it be made public? “Affiliates are not allowed to bid on the brand play.com or any variations of this.” Applies to all affiliates in its current wording.
