It happened a while ago but the blogs been neglected – I’ve been promoted (of sorts)! And am now the Partnerships Manager at Alpha International Accommodation.
As well as managing and growing the Alpharooms.com affiliate programme I will now be responsible for the Alpha EU sites which are currently a Spanish, French and German version. These will be launching with Zanox and Webgains within the next month, if you have traffic for these markets get in touch! I want to get these kick started. Ill also be in charge of launching Vacenza.com which is long overdue but for all the right reasons (ill do another post explaining why) and growing the Transferstore.com programme which is on Affiliate Future.
Not a lot new there all affiliate sites, affiliate networks.
The main new part of my job is to build and grow our ‘host 2 host’ business where by travel agents, tour operators, airlines etc take our product and availability and integrate it into their systems. Allowing them to seamlessly sell our product via their sites – we feed them our nett rates, they add whatever mark up they want and sell it on to the customer.
Its all relatively new to me and the company but in principal its just like an affiliate relationship where the partner taking our feed chooses their own commission! Well see how it goes
