Well its 18th November 2007, I’ve just been to Meadowhall to pick up a shiny new suit for the wedding of the century (and my old wedding this year thankfully). It’s a bit cold, some light drizzle. Anyway on my way home I decided to come ‘the back way’ over the hills just because it’s a more fun drive than being stuck in traffic in town and to my disbelief I saw it!
Snow! I shi*t you not, as I headed out of Sheffield on to the hills the rain had something in it, a bit of slush. As I continued further on my journey it got a bit heavier and a bit more ‘flaky’ and then as I came onto the moors I look across and notice the hilltops are actually white!

Well – that was it for me, curiosity had me and I headed for those hills! It just got heavier and heaver and there was snow settled on the roads, on sheep, on the fields and hills!
I got a bit excited and had to phone a friend, we reminisced for literally 2 minutes about sledging back in the day and then I head to head home for dinner, no snow here yet but its only a matter of time!
