Last year the awards were tagged onto the A4U Expo which was a massive success held in the Fox which is a medium sized bar just next to the ExCel centre. This year things are going to be different!
Just to set the scene last year I was adorned in shirt and jeans (relatively smart by my standards), free fish and chip suppers were passed around the room and a David Brent look a like stood at the front hading out awards. Somehow I cant see that happening this year…
Matt and the Existem team seem to have raised the bar this year, its now black tie (I don’t even have a tie, never mind a black one) so that gives me an excuse to go hire a tux.

Alpha have decided to get behind the awards this year sponsoring the “Best Network Innovation” and “Affiliates4u Award For Excellence” categories so I shall be paying a lot of attention to those two in particular.
Am I / Alpha going for anything? Well I’ve put us forward for the merchant Travel vertical award – your votes for this would be much appreciated. Its taken a lot to get where we are now, and with ’08 set to be the best year for Alpha’s affiliate programme it would be nice to win something 
Also worth noting that we’ve got a table for 10, chances are well be going down with 3 alpha staff in total so will have seats to give away, if your interested let me know otherwise ill be contacting affiliates over the next month or so.
