What a phone! I’ve had mine just over a week now after being made insanely jealous by a friend who has one. So whats all the fuss about?
Apart from it looking absolutely amazing, and being one of the quickest and easiest phones ive ever used it packed full of toys. As you might imagine a major plus for it is the always on EDGE connection, although not the fastest in the world it works and its free which is a problem ive always had in the past with 3G on my old Nokia N95.
3G sapped the battery life like you wouldn’t believe, you got charged by data transferred so I browsed with images off and visited as few sites as possible, trust me, that’s no way to browse the internet. And living up in the hills 3G connection is poor to non existent so you often find yourself on GPRS anyway.
So as the internets a major part of it, you get to download lots of cool ‘apps’. Basically it looks like anyone can write software apps for the iphone and write apps they are! There are hundreds, anything from new wallpapers to an app that turns your iphone into a spirit level. That’s right for just £329 you can know just how flat anything is.
So far I’ve not found a single thing wrong with it.
