I do like a bit of a gamble from time to time so thought id share a ‘system’ that’s worked for me in the past. I was first introduced to it last year in Tenerife by a colleague but didn’t have the cash or confidence to try it in a Spanish casino.
The theory which after research is called the martingale system is quite simple, you pick a colour and stick to it doubling your bet if it loses. So red/black pays 1:1 and lets say you start with £1 on red. If it wins you get £1 winning and your pound back so your up.
If red loses you need to put £2 on red. If this wins you have bet £1 on your first bet and £2 on your second – total spent £3. The winnings if this second bet comes in are £4 so again your £1 up, and using this system its all you’ll ever get, you can only ever win 1 unit, or your initial bet.
This loses, double it. £4 on red. Total spent to get to this stage is £1 plus your £2 plus your £4. Wins you get £8 back and so on and so forth.
It can quickly get to big money though, im using £1 as a starting stake for simplicities purpose but if you want to win money then £10 as a start seems fair (so your winning £10 per win) but after 5 loses your at £310 total loss with your next bet being £320.
It should just be a case of if you can afford to carry on, you’ll win. But don’t do this in a real casino as they all have table limits, and doing it online – check the table doesn’t have a limit! The longest consecutive run of single colour wins is 26 – so be warned!
This should work with any option that pays 1:1 so red/black, odd/even and 1-18/19-36.
