Well its been a while, some thought id died, others though id got fat and lazy – those were correct.
So why am I back? Bloody affiliates, you know who you are, pestering me to get blogging again and also because I intend to take up some of my own affiliate stuff again to cope with this credit crunch that is apparently happening – its been felt hard in the Morley household, im even down to Tesco value washing machine tabs.
Firstly – im out! I moved out of my parents house a few months into my first ‘home’ that’s actually an apartment. Some try and call it a flat but its way too posh to be a flat, it has a balcony! Loving it so far, has had a devastating effect on my disposable income but I guess that’s life. I might add photos or something at a later date.
Do I still work at alpha? Damn right I do, hopefully most of our affiliates know that (if they don’t then what the hell am I doing all day!) but at the recent A4U expo I did get asked by a few non travel types what I as up to these days.
The Expo, it happened, it was great. There are loads of people that have summarised it a hell of a lot better than I could do so ill leave it at that really.
XL went bust! Can you believe that? As well as a dozen other travel companies, oh well
In the affiliate world the big debates at the moment are vouchers / discount codes, cashback and brand bidding. No change there then
